Let me start with: when correctly configured, this item is a four or five star gem. This is the second I've owned though, and it is not good-to-go out of the box. The issues are that the item ships without decent instructions, with the black corny keg adaptor, which is for the outflow side, and with the wrong CO2 cartridge. If you don't have a keg hooked up, the second may not be obvious. The biggest issue is that the vendor ships a non-threaded cartridge. This is a three-fold issue. First, if have the right adaptor and you hook it up with the included cart, the gas that doesn't immediately flow into the keg, flows out around the o-ring and is wasted. Second, not all non-threaded carts work. Finally, though: inspection reveals that these are made for the threaded carts. Indeed they work beautifully with those. As far as the non-threaded carts that actually fit the unit, I am concerned that that the housing may not be strong enough to hold the pressure without the interior threads. It seems to me that under the right circumstances: boom.The connector didn't fit right and the co2 would leak slowly. put in second cartridge and plastic housing broke and co2 sprayed out rapidly.
