It's not the worst Rootbeer extract I've used, but it's not amazing either. So far the best rootbeer extract I've used is the McCormick brand one. No joke. This stuff isn't bad though. It's just weaker than I was hoping. I love a strong flavored Rootbeer and even after using double the suggested recipe amount for my batch it still came out as only ok.
