Coke Zero Soda Syrup Concentrate 2.5 Gallon Bag in Box BIB Sodastream
Brand New
Tastes Great
More convenient than continually buying and disposing of cans. The "best by" date seems... conservative. It's only a few months from manufacture date, and these are fine far beyond that. For a bit of math... a 2L bottle of coke zero is ~$3 on the low side. This makes a bit over 60L, so ~30 2L bottles worth. Which is ~$90, which is about what this BiB costs. Add in CO2 (~$20 per 60L), which is $30 to carbonate the whole thing. So, ~$120 per BiB vs $90 for an equivalent amount of 2L bottles. Without having to haul 16 Gallons of Coke Zero home. And if you're buying cans, this is much cheaper than that since cans are almost 2x the cost per oz vs 2L bottles. This syrup is less concentrated than sodastream diet cola. The math for sodastream diet cola is $20 to make 9.5 gallons of soda + ~$12 for CO2. That's ~$3.4 per gallon for sodastream diet cola vs ~$7.4 dollars per gallon for coke zero syrup. This is a similar difference to off brand cola vs coke, so if you like sodastream rather than genuine coke, then you should stick with it.Personally, I use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EDNNGKK/https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NRFS23X for carbonation (the CO2 tanks work with both these and sodastream). You add the syrup before carbonation. I don't know why you need to add it after for sodasense, but it seems like it would be less carbonated at that point.Instructions:Mix the syrup with carbonated water at a ratio of 5.5:1 (five and a half parts carbonated water for every one part syrup).Yields:When mixed at this recommended ratio, this product will yield approximately 16.25 gallons or 173 twelve fl oz servings.
