GoodMy grocery store didn't have it stock so, I had to order it from Amazon. It was more pricey but, I needed it.Makes a huge difference in my bakingThree stars, but only because of the great product. These are about twice as expensive as an online vitamin store I also useCost is too high!I love this product. Exellent I use a 1/2 tea spoon of the baking soda and some lemon. I drink it every morning. It help with digestion and I also make deodorant. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and buy again.I have no doubt that this baking soda is all it is supposed to be. I decided to go for this one over the traditional Arm and Hammer orange box that is cheaper in the stores.I received a box that had no outer damage. The inner box that the 4 packages came in had no dents but baking soda powder was leaking out of it. I didn't pay too much attention to this until I opened the box to inspect the bags. Two out of the four bags were open at the top and spilled all over. Not just little leaks - but big ones due to the brittle plastic used in the bags.I called Amazon and they are replacing the package. Hopefully this was just a one time flaw but I could see an issue with the plastic used and the sealing method being an area of fatigue. Messy - but right down the sink and in my garbage can. As mentioned, no discernible damage to the box the package was shipped in and no damage to the outer package itself -- just the bags.Update: The package was replaced by Amazon and arrived next day. I can't imagine the cost of shipping an add-on item FedEx but it shows Amazon's dedication to customer service.I started this review out as 3 stars for the strange faux pas but have upgraded it to 5 stars. The Baking soda is as expected. The one difference I notice between this one and Just got the item today and wanted to say that despite my concerns based on reviews the packaging was fine and the items arrived without any spills or package breakage. There may be variations on the way this is shipped, my order arrived in a box with cushioned air pads - but I have noticed that Amazon can be inconsistent, particularly the warehouse in the packaging. I think I know why some arrive with leaks in the bags - the larger Bob's Red Mill box that the baking soda bags come in is the standard size that the grains come in but the bags are usually larger - so the product manufacturer may need to make some adjustment as I can see how the smaller bags could knock around inside the box and cause damage. Bob's could improve it by putting the bags of baking soda into a snugger fitting shipping box - would save them a lot on refunds and returns I'm sure! Mine were fine like I said and when I opened one of the bags the plastic seemed sturdy so maybe they have worked on the packaging issue.As for quality I just now tried it as an alkalizer with lemon juice & water. Not exactly tasty but the baking soda is much finer than arm & hammer & I trust in the quality of Bob's Red Mill so I am not worried about aluminum or other toxins in this product. I'll use it for cooking as well and other personal use but will probably get the cheap stuff for the fridge or other household uses of baking soda. However this is a great price & the 4 bags will last me a looooong time for their intended uses so I am very satisfied with the purchase.
